Hungry
By Billy | December 22, 2009
am i looking for you
am i looking for you
am i looking for you
am i looking for you
in the wrong
wrong
places?
am i hearing my name
is it really you?
are you calling for me
like i think you do?
am i completely lost and misguided here?
do i have the grace of meeting you?
am i looking
am i looking
am i looking
for you?
i keep forgetting the words that you said to me
and the thoughts that i had they’ve imploded
and i can’t help but wonder what’s going on
where is the source and where is the end,
where is the answer
Who
is
my friend?
well i am wandering out in the forest
and it is dark and i have no more food
and the trees and the owls are all haunting me
and the wind is like needles and nails
you see i thought that i might find my way out here
wandering in this poor desolate land
still there is no more signs of life out here
i just feel like i’m juggling sand
